Sourcing – most of our peppermint comes from the rainy Pacific Northwest of the USA where it grows abundantly ensuring a yield large enough to provide large quantities of this very popular oil. However, to support small scale farmers in India, we also have 3 growing areas. These farmers traditionally have to grow food crops twice a year but in the middle season, which often went unused, they now grow a cash crop of peppermint, ensuring a constant flow of income for themselves and the local community.

This recycling reduces waste and economically supports farmers who don’t have to buy firewood, chop trees, or buy fuel for the boilers.
